Clause 

    Clause is group of words with a subject and verb.

1.Clause 

• Dependent clause

                example:  - when  I  came  late

                                                   S     V

                                  - I  will buy a mountain  if I a lot a money

          Dependent clause dibagi menjadi 3, yaitu
           a.) adjective clause : the function is to describe noun
           b.) noun clause
           c.) adverbial clause

• Independent clause

     example Dependent clause and Independent caluse:
                    - The girl is beautiful 
                            S       V
                    - The girl  whom I met last night  is beautiful
                            S         Adjective clause         V
                    -I don't know who answered she phone
                         IC                               DC

Technology and Society

        Technology changes the way we work in many ways. One of the first industrial machines used water to repalce some of the work done  by animals. In 1781, James Watt invented a steam engine taht did the work of 10 horses. It seemed unlikely that these engines would change how people lived worked..........
